Alex is so amazing to work with. My fiancé and I don’t take a lot of pictures and both of us are camera shy. I was a little nervous about the shoot but she made both of us feel so comfortable. She made the photoshoot fun and told us how to pose and what to do. On top of all of that, she was able to get us back our photos in less than a week. I would definitely recommend her! I hope to work with her again in the future.

Booking Alex for our engagement photoshoot was the best decision we have ever made! Alex and I hit it off on our first call. She was so sweet, professional, and understood the vibe my fiance and I were going for. We were nervous to take professional photos, and Alex made me feel super comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process. She delivered a handful of photos a few days after the shoot to give us a sneak peak, which we really appreciated, and delivered the entire gallery shortly after. We are truly blown away. Her photography is 100%, hands-down worth the investment and we are so thrilled with our photos.

I cannot begin to express the absolute pleasure it was working with Alex. From day 1 she was professional, listened to our wants, concerns, and dreams. She was our biggest cheerleader, and made sure we were comfortable in front of the camera. Our photos capture the joy of our wedding day without looking forced or staged. Alex is INCREDIBLE. If you're considering using her as your photographer, you should absolutely do it. She is extremely talented and has a wonderful eye for capturing candid, sweet moments with gorgeous photos that mean so much to me and my now husband. Also, she's extremely easy to be around and made us comfortable in front of the camera. She played music that we loved and had great ideas for what to do for our engagement shoot. It ended up feeling very "us". She was so thoughtful and supportive every step of the way. I even ended up reaching out to her for thoughts on my dress and outfit details. She had excellent advice, and I feel so lucky she was part of our dream team of wedding vendors. And I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend her wedding albums. I am obsessed with ours. It's gorgeous, high-quality, and I can't help but smile ear to ear when I flip through it.

We could not have had a better experience with Alexandria Monette Photography. When our planner sent us a list of photographers to go through, there wasn’t a question in our mind that Alex’s photos stood out to us from the start. The warmth, tone and color of her images set a mood and a feeling as though you the viewer are peering in on the special moment. The way she captured not only the bride and groom, but their guest and family members’ candid expressions and unforgettable moments in time, was inspiring and so beautiful. When we had our phone call, it was immediately a vibe. She totally got us, and made us feel at ease and excited about the process and what photography could look like on our big day. She had great communication with us every step of the way leading up to our wedding. She even worked with us to accommodate and stage special details photos of the invitations that we didn’t have time for on our actual day. As soon as we arrived at the venue she and her (amazing) second shooter were on site, and they really got us into the zone and were a calming presence amidst the nerves. Alex had a way of making everyone feel at ease while organizing specific groups and getting us some fabulous, fun and creative couples shots. Her ability to seamlessly engage with our guests while capturing the little details and then the big moments was truly impressive. Getting the photos back and looking through, we felt excited and sentimental because we truly got to see our day and relive it through the photos. Not to mention, sharing them with others so far has been a blast, because all anyone says is how obsessed they are with our photos. There are a ton of wedding photographers out there, but after looking through portfolios and interviewing many in the Southern California area, we came to realize there is a big difference between those who simply document the event and those who capture the moments and the vibe of the wedding. Alex is a master at capturing those moments, the ones you will be living on your wedding day thinking, “I want to bottle up this feeling for forever”. She has always exceeded our expectations. Alex is extremely professional and always pays attention to the details, which goes a long way in helping the wedding planning process and the day-of festivities go smoothly. She works with you to understand who you are as a couple and your vision for your wedding. She brings a fun and relaxed vibe to all of the photo shoots and we looked forward to every time we worked with her. We also really appreciated the timeline she created for the day-of, as this allowed us to capture all of the portraits we wanted. The day of, she really took charge and made sure we were on-schedule (very thankful for that) while still managing to capture every photo we wanted. The quality of her work blew us away when we got the photos back. Many of the wedding photos you see on Instagram all have a similar “look,” but Alex’s pop off the screen. You can tell that she is truly passionate about the couples she gets to work with, and I think this might be part of the reason why. This was even more apparent through our interactions on the wedding day with both Alex and our videographer (another company) - a stark difference between the two and I will leave it at that. In short, if we were doing it all over again, we would choose Alex for her passion, the quality of her work, her amazing personality, and her attention to the details.

Alex is amazing. We booked our wedding venue sight unseen from Canada during the pandemic. We felt confident enough to do that after falling in love with Alex's photos from a previous wedding. She was so understanding of our situation and was always quick to respond to our emails or jump on a call if needed. Her guides, expertise, experience, and organizational skills are next level. Her timeline was more detailed than our planner's and it was INCREDIBLE. Since we never had the opportunity to meet until our wedding day it could have been awkward but Alex immediately put us at ease. She seamlessly kept us on schedule, checked in with us when needed, reminded everyone to take their sunglasses off for photos (so that I didn't have to!), and went above and beyond the entire day. We really appreciated how fast we got our sneak peeks and we LOVE our photos. We cannot recommend Alex enough. Don't wait, just book with her!

Could not recommend Alex enough for wedding photography!!! We booked Alex for our wedding pre-covid in 2020 and we were able to work with her through two reschedules dates - over the span of 2 years! She is professional, kind, thoughtful, and her photography truly speaks for itself - she is SO talented. I was so insanely picky when it came to photography, but my husband and I couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out. She captured the little moments I had completely forgotten about that made for the most special photos<3 I had spoken to her about having a super8 videographer at our wedding (it didn't end up happening) but she brought a film camera to capture a few moments throughout the day with that vintage feel...I mean!! We're so thankful to have had her guidance throughout the wedding planning process, always there to answer all + any questions we had. Thanks for everything Alex!!

I do not say this lightly but hiring Alex as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made during the planning process. Alex is the absolute best and goes so far beyond the expectations of an amazing wedding photographer. From the very beginning, she was quick, efficient, and personal when responding. Once we talked to her and heard her warm, vibrant energy we knew should be a great fit. Our engagement photos turned out incredible- she captured the energy and relationship of my husband and I like we’ve never seen in photos before. It was also very fun to work with her and made us feel so comfortable. We were on a sailboat and a storm was coming in and somehow she still remained calm with us lol! She also has these extremely helpful, comprehensive guides for the engagement shoot and for the wedding. Especially if you don't have a full wedding planner or wedding designer-these are SO helpful. Now getting to the wedding day, she truly served as part photographer/part wedding coordinator. She helped keep everyone seamlessly on schedule and was my go to person with any questions or challenges of the day. My friends and family absolutely loved her and couldn't say enough great things about her after the wedding. She reads peoples’ energy super well and knew when we needed a break without even saying anything. We got our sneak peaks very quickly after the wedding and they are MAGIC. She captured all of the heartfelt moments of the day but they literally look so beautiful and straight from a magazine. Our personalities shine through in the photos and I know they will bring us back to the feelings of the day for years to come. We’re beyond grateful we hired Alex and I hope this helps convince you to do the same!

Alex was so exceptional!! She did an absolutely amazing job capturing our special day and we're so thankful we chose her to be our photographer. I knew from the minute I booked my venue that I wanted Alex to be my photographer. She had shot at O'Donnell House in Palm Springs numerous times and her ability to capture the beautiful setting, intimate moments, and holistic feeling of an event was exactly what I was looking for. Alex arrived right on time at our AirBnB and put a nervous group of people at ease. She and her colleague were seamless in capturing the preparation photos and were there for every special moment. I loved the pictures she got of my dad and aunt and how natural they looked. She was with me prior to my first look and again after when I was toasting my friends and waiting to go down the aisle. Nerves were at an all time high but Alex had such a great attitude and kept us all feeling positive and light before the big moment. We even had a bit of a disaster when a wind swept through before the event and the glass hurricanes went crashing down. Alex ran around trying to save what she could and told me it happens all the time and would be taken care of asap - which it was! Even though I was certain about Alex, I was speechless when I saw the photos. They were more than we could have hoped for, I am not used to being in front of the camera and she just made it all happen so seamlessly. I cannot recommend Alex enough - she is truly the BEST!

Alexandria was the most wonderful photographer. She was so professional and truly helped make the day better with her suggestions and her flow with the taking of the pictures. She was open to any ideas or requests from us but kept us moving along at a great pace that did not stress the day but simply enhanced it and kept us all from loosing focus. The sneak peak of the pictures was wonderful and her and her co photographer made us feel like the capture of all the special moments was going to be magnificent and it was!!! The love the family the beauty the fun the laughter and the joy of the day was all captured through the lenses and she even stayed a tony bit longer to ensure we had all the memories we wanted captured. Truly the best money we spent for our wedding memories to be captured. She scouted the neighborhood before coming that morning to find us some great spots to capture off site pictures. I was lucky enough to discover Alex by stumbling upon her amazing work via Instagram, which captivated me instantly. I was immediately drawn to her ability to capture the unique personalities and emotions of every special moment. Alex did our engagement photos as well as our welcome party and our wedding, and I truly believe there is no one better out there. She is our photographer soulmate! Alex is a must for your engagement photos!!! we can't express how amazing it was to work with her. From the beginning consultation call, to having the best day ever the day of shoot, to the seamless follow up with our sneak peaks and gallery. She is truly the best at what she does. Alex is everything I wanted in a wedding photographer and her work is beautiful! She was very organized and professional. She took the time to get to know us and what mattered most to us. Her questionnaires are very detailed but this helps her develop the ideal timeline to capture all the details and moments that we wanted. My review for Alex is long overdue!! Our wedding took place 2 months ago but we have been working with Alex for almost 2 years!! We initially booked Alex back in 2019 for our wedding and was referred by a friend of ours and we instantly fell in love with all the albums she showed us. We contemplated because along with beautiful pictures comes a steep price but in the end it was all worth it! Our Wedding ended up getting postponed but Alex was able to accommodate us for our postponed date. Upon meeting Alex she was very friendly and easy to get a long with which my husband and I loved. She was always quick to respond and communicate with. She assisted us with choosing our engagement shoot locations and not to mention for people who are not use to having their pictures taken she made it easy. Alex has pretty much been there every step of the way in our wedding planning process. She always prioritized US and what we liked or wanted in our pictures. Our family and friends loved all of our pictures and she delivered in a timely manner. Not to mention the sneak peeks she provides for us a few days after the wedding. We got married in November 2019 (right before the COVID crisis). We interviewed a few photographers to capture our big day in Palm Springs. Out of all of them Alex was the one who we felt was going to capture our union of families as best as possible. And her results speak for themselves. Right after we committed, she sent us a welcome box with goodies - it gave us comfort knowing how seriously she takes her job. It's been two years since our wedding and we can't stop reviewing all of our photos. Alex and her team are extremely professional and know how to make the shots look perfect. As our family grows, we will definitely keep Alex on our first to call for photography.

STOP LOOKING - HIRE ALEX! I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am to have had Alex photograph our wedding - it was easily the best decision I made for the whole affair, honestly.. potentially behind selecting my husband. She is THAT amazing. After seeing her stunning work on Instagram, I reached out to Alex early 2019 for my fall wedding in 2020. She was one of the first vendors I selected, even before venue, location etc. simply because I knew I had to have her. Not only is she an absolute GENIUS of a photographer, but she is an incredible person as well. A pandemic hit, there were so many date changes, possible career changes, maybe moves, vacations..the list goes on and on for what we had to get through to make sure she was photographing our wedding. And she made it happen. She was ALWAYS responsive, even during a time where it felt like no other vendor was because they were "so busy" with two years of weddings in one. Alex never made me feel like she was too busy for our questions, concerns or even just check in's. She was on TOP of the timeline for the whole day, my other vendors even told me how impressed they were with her. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and made the whole thing so much fun! When she had to leave at the end of the night I literally started crying because of how amazing she had been throughout the 2 year process and how amazing she was the day of. I hadn't even seen the images yet and just was so thankful for her being by our side through it all. She got us sneak peaks just a short couple days after and I screamed at all of them. They truly came out better than I could have imagined and we will cherish them forever + ever. I can't wait to get our whole set in a few short weeks, even though I'm concerned for spontaneous combustion!! The only thing I wish is that I didn't even invite people to my wedding and just made the whole affair a photoshoot with Alex. Guess I'll just have to book her again :) THANK YOU ALEX!!!! Alex had a huge part in our wedding this year, and I have no regrets not looking into anyone else because I knew she was the one for us from the very beginning. She is very responsive in communication, very professional, and very fun to work with. She photographed us for our engagement, and got us sneak peeks within 2 days- amazing! The best part was our wedding in June. Due to life-changing events in her life, she was unable to be physically present for our wedding day, but gave us a 7-month notice. We still wanted to work with her in some way, so she proposed that 2 photographers fill in for her, and she would still edit our photos and generously offered a complimentary wedding album. We got the best package possible, working with 3 amazing photographers and still keep her as being involved in our wedding day even though she couldn’t be there the day of. I highly recommend Alex for her professionalism and compassion! She has a heart of gold and will truly take care of you and if she can’t, she will figure out a way. Love her. Thank you Alex! Alex the magician! I met Alex 11+ years ago when we both went to Italy for a study abroad program through the same college. As people usually do we lost touch but I found her on instagram when she took some amazing wedding photos for two different classmates (2017 & 2018). She was also the wedding photographer for close friends of ours in 2019. Let me tell you she keeps getting better!! We wanted something different when it came to our photos…. magazine cover worthy if you will. Beyoncé and JayZ type vibes. My husband is very detailed, artistic and creative so when he saw Alex’s work the search was over. She gave us EPIC photos! All the vibes we wanted sexy, moody, playful… etc. for our engagement and wedding photos. Of course, still provided family photos to cherish. Don’t know how to pose no worries, Alex has your back. Don’t know where the heck your wedding photos will take place at your venue? Alex does her research. Need vendor recommendations? Alex created her own wedding planning magazine. Wedding photo timeline? Alex provides you a form to fill out with who and what you want captured on your wedding day. She worked with us to reschedule during the pandemic and updated us with COVID guidelines on social media as well. Alex isn’t your basic wedding photographer she has true talent. There were so many photos she provided where I was in awe of her! How the heck did she think to do that?! lol I could go on but her work speaks for itself 😏

Okay…**SPEECHLESS** I knew I had an awesome photographer just looking through Alex’s work when I hired her, but after getting our own pictures back all I can say is, OMG, they turned out SO good. The colors, the lighting, the candid moments, the smiles, the details. I have so many people commenting to me how amazing my pictures turned out. We can’t believe these are our wedding pictures! Alex was the first vendor I chose back in 2019 (before Covid) and she’s been with us every step of the way navigating 2020 to make this wedding happen! You can tell she puts in a lot of hard work, time and passion into her business, making guides and vendor suggestions. We were so lucky we got to keep her after having to change our original date. We did an engagement session with her too, which I highly recommend, especially if you’ve never been through a photo shoot before and don’t know what to do with your hands. Alex guides you through poses so you don’t feel awkward and makes it SO fun. She also was an awesome leader during the wedding day process, getting everyone together to be where they needed to be. SHE DOES SO MANY THINGS. At the end of the night I could tell she worked her butt off making sure we got ALL the important shots and for that we are forever grateful. O! AND we got sneak peaks on our honeymoon which I wasn’t even expecting and THAT WAS FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!

If we could give more than 5 stars for Alex and her team - we would! Being a 2020 turned 2021 bride was no easy feat, however having supportive and caring vendors like Alex made the wait for our big day WELL worth it! She helped us navigate postponing, rescheduling, and last minute changes up until the final weeks. The day of - Alex and her team helped our bridal party, family, and friends to stay on time and on schedule, all the while ensuring we were having the time of our lives! They joined us on the dance floor and even grabbed a guests polaroid camera to snap some fun candid shots of us! I can't tell you how many of our guests complimented how amazing the photography team was and we're already gushing over our sneak peek photos. We cannot recommend Alex and her team enough for truly going above and beyond. We are forever grateful for the gorgeous moments they captured for our long awaited day and will cherish our photos for a lifetime. Words cannot describe how in love with my photos I am. I found Alexandria when I was searching for my wedding venue. Her pictures are incredible and natural. I feel that she did an amazing job capturing the love we had that day and the candid intimate moments I will treasure forever. She has done our engagement and wedding photos! Alex has been incredibly helpful, available, and just fun to interact with from the first moment we spoke. She photographed our engagement, our wedding, and even a boudoir surprise for my hubby. Our experience began with design ideas, location scouting, attire suggestions, and hair/makeup referrals. Alex was always available for us to bounce ideas off of and guide us in the right direction based on her experience. During the shoot she made us feel safe and comfortable. She directed us in such a way that we were able to open up, be ourselves, flow with the “poses”, and have a tremendous amount of fun while doing it. To top off the whole experience, she delivered flawless photos. Her editing and style is so on point with what we envisioned. She captured such tear jerking moments that I didn’t even realize she was taking photos of. Alexandria was so professional. She had a cute questionnaire and magazine she created with everything you need to know from outfits to color pallet leading up to the photoshoot. Durning the photoshoot she playing cute music, even our first dance song which made us feel so comfortable and in our element. The reason we went with her was because she was highly recommend, but also because she’s really able to to capture the couples true essence. She does something really special where she photographs personality and movement without it looking generic and posed. Overall she was very accommodating, very sweet extremely professional, & made us feel very comfortable. 10 out 10.

Alex was a dream to work with. Especially considering she came out to photograph our small wedding during the covid pandemic (July 2020), we couldn't have asked for anything else. She wore a mask the entire time, maintained social distance while still getting really intimate shots, and was really helpful in making sure all guests felt safe while gathering for photos. Most importantly, the pictures turned out great and really captured how special the day was. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Alexandria is the best. Yes, she's the best photographer, but she's also the best possible vendor you could book for your wedding day team! After we booked out February wedding venue in March of 2019, Alexandria was the first wedding vendor we booked. Booking her was one of, if not the best, decision of our entire wedding planning process. Although I'd followed her on social media for a long time and loved her pictures, before finalizing everything she also took the time to chat with me on the phone to answer all of my questions and I knew she was the one! We booked Alex for both wedding day photos and an engagement shoot, so that we could get used to being photographed. I really recommend booking an engagement shoot with her: not only do we love the photos, but also meeting up in person took away any anxiety we might have had on the wedding day. We asked Alex to totally direct us--telling us poses and even where to put our hands--and she was open to doing that entirely and we firmly believe the pictures were a success because of that. We also got to try out a lot of different poses during the engagement shoot to figure out what looked good for the wedding day. Our experience with Alex during our engagement shoot made us confident that any pose she suggested to us on our wedding day would come out looking amazing! Some other things that she did for our engagement shoot that were above and beyond: looked at photos of different outfit choices and advised us on what to wear (!), drove out all the way to Santa Monica for us, provided us hundreds of different, beautiful photos in different poses for us to choose from. Now the wedding day: I was drawn to Alex's photographs for how genuine, beautiful, and artful they are, and our photos are better than I could have dreamed. Not only did she capture us and our day wonderfully, but she was truly the best vendor to have at our wedding. It was like hanging out with a friend on the day of! At one point on the dance floor, someone actually stepped on my train and ripped my bustle off (the horror!) and Alex came through with a safety pin and pinned my train up to my dress so I could keep dancing! If that isn't above and beyond, I don't know what is! And with the photos, she made us feel completely at ease throughout the day and captured so many different looks and locations for us. She was also open both to directing us/our bridal parties as well as to my ideas (such as my request for a cool shot with my veil), and she directed our friends and family with authority and ease. Her second shooter was also incredible and a joy to be around, and took the most gorgeous, relaxed shots of my husband. We're obsessed with our wedding photos. Our photos capture our genuine joy and love, but Alex also made sure we looked our best, and that balance is something very few photographers know how to create. Alex takes photos with love and we feel that love in our photos. I would fly Alex to the moon to take my wedding photos. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Alex was amazing - there is no other word for her. From Day 1 (when we reached out to her), leading up to the shoot, the day of, and after, Alex was kind, engaging, and great. We did an engagement shoot in Palm Springs in December 2019. My fiancée and I were a little concerned that we might feel uncomfortable or artificial during the shoot, but Alex put us perfectly as ease. She got our instagrams before the shoot, to get a sense of our style, helped us think about outfits, and even asked what music we like(Carly Rae Jepsen was the soundtrack) to set up a shoot playlist. The shoot itself was exciting and fun- as she told us, this should be like a fun date, and that’s exactly what it felt like. Despite it being snowy and windy up near Joshua Tree, the polar opposite of what we were expecting, Alex was a champ, coming up with a great plan for everything on the fly. In terms of the actual photos - we loved them. Alex’s eye, selection, and very natural editing style had us amazed with each and every single photo. We both cannot recommend Alex more, and would definitely go back to her for any more shoots!

Working with Alex was a dream. She took my wedding photos when my husband and I eloped in Palm Springs. We live in Minneapolis so weren't able to meet with her beforehand. It felt like a risk doing wedding photos with a photographer we've never worked with, but we loved Alex's work so decided to go for it. I'm so glad we did!! Not being from the area, I felt needy beforehand asking tons of questions about locations and recommendations for hair/makeup artists. Alex always responded quickly and really went the extra to be helpful. I also loved the planning magazine she sent beforehand. During the shoot, Alex was amazing at giving us guidance on poses and expressions which was super helpful for me as someone who is generally awkward being photographed. She was so easy to talk to, kept us laughing constantly, and made us feel comfortable which is definitely reflected in the photos. Now that we have our photos back (it only took her about a week to get them edited and back to us - amazing!), I can't stop looking at them! She captured our love perfectly and took a great mix of candid and posed photos. I feel so proud of them and know we'll treasure them forever. Alex was a dream to work with and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a fun, laid back, insanely talented wedding photographer. I found Alex through Instagram actually-- her gorgeous photos spoke for themselves and I was hooked. Since we did a destination wedding in Palm Springs, we didn’t get a chance to meet Alex until our wedding day. Luckily for us, it turns out she’s a badass, fun, photographer who put both me and my husband (who hates having his picture taken) at ease. Leading up to the wedding, Alex was great to work with—she sent us a lovely and thoughtful care package once we hired her and was extremely helpful with vendor recommendations since we weren’t as familiar with Palm Springs vendors. She frequently checked in and made sure we were comfortable with our shot lists and was quick to offer help if we had any questions. The day of the wedding, she was fun and creative (it rained allllll day) and so easy going. I absolutely LOVED hanging with her all day. We received sneak peeks the week after our wedding—while most of my recently-married friends have received 3-4 pictures for their sneak peek, we received 20+ pictures which was so amazing to have so soon after the big day. We received our full wedding album 6 weeks after our wedding – and the pictures were incredible. Hands down, Alex was one of the best choices we made in selecting wedding vendors. I don’t even know where to start with this girl because honestly there are no words the describe how much we love and appreciate her. Alex was the first vendor that we secured for our wedding and from the day we met her I knew in my heart we had made the right choice. Alex was the single best decision that we made when planning our wedding. She was also the very first vendor we booked. We knew that regardless of every other detail, our wedding wouldn’t be the day we wanted it to be or the memories we wanted to take from it, without Alex being our photographer. We booked her almost immediately after getting engaged and from that point forward, we not only had a photographer, we had an experienced supporter, a honorary maid of honor, a cheer leader. Where to begin with Alex? We found her through friends for whom she photographed their elopement. We were so in awe of their photos. How effortless, natural, and yet editorial the pictures came out. She captured the true essence of that couple. Since then, she has also photographed the wedding of another friend of ours in the same group and completely captured their essence. It's amazing how one person can take photos that are so unique to each couple while still staying true to her style and brand. I have had the pleasure to work with Alex twice. The first time was at my bachelorette party, where all of my best friends surprised me with a photo shoot. When I signed up for Alex's boudoir marathon, I had no idea what to expect. What I definitely didn't expect was for it to be THE BEST. TIME. EVER. ALEX IS A FREAKIN WIZARD. She is SO GOOD at what she does!!! From the moment I arrived and started getting my hair and makeup done, Alex instantly made me feel relaxed. She is so personable, funny, and overall a kickass human being. Oh and did I mention - SHE IS INSANELY TALENTED. Alex is hands down the BEST. We were drawn to Alex because we love her style, and we got so much more when we booked her. This woman is a hard-working boss babe who you feel like you’ve known for years. Super communicative, reaches out before the wedding to see if you need anything/offer helpful tips/advice/check on your well-being haha, and on the wedding day she's a freaking pro. Has an assistant who splits up to take pictures of you two when you're not together, and to get extra coverage. She's, punctual, organized, fun, great energy, and really great to be around. Not only does she send a ton of sneak peeks a couple of days after the wedding, her social media presence is on point. Alex is seriously so amazing. Not only is she an awesome photographer, she is one of the most amazing humans I have had the pleasure to meet and call a friend. I can't even remember how I stumbled upon Alex, but it doesn't matter. If you've stumbled upon her, do yourself a favor and book her. I planned my wedding from across the country because my husband and I had to relocate for school. We wanted to get married in California where we met and where our community is. Alex made the entire process so easy. She will walk you through the entire process, communicate clearly and timely with you. Alex traveled to the bay area to do our engagement photos, where we met. Alex is a professional and like your best friend taking photos at the same time. I cannot say enough good about Alex. We were SOO happy we hired Alex for our intimate elopement in Joshua Tree in April. We were organising it all from the U.K. and then went backpacking before ending our trip with the wedding. She was great from start to finish - in helping us find vendors like our celebrant, giving us honest advice about the whole process to the day itself. My husband and I chose Alex for our engagement shoot and wedding photos and it was one of THE BEST decisions we made for our wedding. In a nutshell, she is beyond TALENTED, passionate about her art, so organized, prompt, helpful, and a dream to work with. Choosing the right photographer was very important to me. I spent hours scouring through Instagram and websites to find the perfect photographer but nothing really caught my eye. Finally, I reached out to my friend’s on Instagram and was referred to Alex by a friend who was getting married two weeks before us. After seeing her engagement photos, I immediately contacted Alex and booked her without even speaking to her on the phone. I was so impressed by her work, the way she captured couple’s emotions, along with the bold colors and textures. Before we met, she sent us a beautiful and thoughtful present. Prior to our engagement session, she sent us tips to prepare and asked us what our favorite Spotify station is to play during our session. I was very nervous and awkward at the beginning of our engagement session, but her free-spirit and down to earth personality eased my nerves. We received our sneak peaks within days and were so impressed by them! She was in charge of the photo timeline and made sure I didn’t have to worry about it on the day of the wedding. My husband has a huge family that wanted their group photo taken, and she was patient with them, while trying to wrangle a large group of people together. We received BEAUTIFUL sneak peek photos within 3 days of the wedding and our whole digital photo album less than a month after. Viewing the album, I was able to relive my wedding day and felt all the emotions again going through it. I also appreciate how organized the album is, as it is separated by ceremony, cocktail hour, romantics, etc. She also offers beautiful photo albums which we plan to get later on. Since the wedding, we’ve had SO many people compliment our photos and engaged couples have asked for her information as well. We 100% recommend her and truly feel blessed and honored that we had her for our special day.

As any wedding requires, you have to hire many vendors. But at the end of it all, there are a couple vendors that stick out as your favorites. Alex was that for us. She completely rocked it on our wedding day. She was warm, professional and kept everything on schedule. We absolutely ADORE her style and how she captures a moment. She is efficient with getting the shot she wants and then moving to the next moment. Alex seems to be a photographer that could do any wedding at any venue. She's such a rockstar and boss lady all wrapped up into one. She's the kind of person you feel as if you've been long friends with, but only just met. If you have any doubts about hiring her, don't. The first thing we fell in love with was the aesthetics of Alex’s photographs. The sun kissed tones and romance she captured through pictures made us speechless. We knew we had to have her! We made sure the date of our wedding coincided with her schedule because she meant that much to us! Before meeting her, we already felt her love through a thoughtful care package that helped us prepare for our engagement session. We finally met Alex in person during our engagement shoot in Palm Springs. She threw out ideas for locations and they were amazing. My husband was a bit shy in front of the camera but Alex knew how to get him to loosen up! She played our favorite tunes and all the awkwardness went away. We had tons of fun during our shoot and couldn’t wait to see pictures! In less than 24 hours she gave us a ton of beautiful photos! She said they were just sneak peaks! We were so surprised with how fast and efficient she was. We almost couldn’t believe the pictures were of us! She’s that good! Our engagement pictures turned out soooo good that people kept telling us that they were the best engagement photos they have ever seen! Another friend even booked her right after seeing them! Needless to say, we had full confidence that we would have amazing wedding photos! Alex kept in constant communication regarding photo timelines. She was prompt and everything went smoothly the day of our wedding. She again delivered some sneak peaks of our wedding within two days and OMG!!! We couldn’t think it could get any better but it did! She made our hearts melt as we looked back at the photos. Alex captured every emotion we felt on the day of wedding, from excitement, anxiety, romance, to pure and utter euphoria. Hands down Alex was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. When we look back at all the pictures we will remember each and every emotion she captured.

Book her! I have been a big fan of hers for a long time and I knew that I wanted to book her for our big day. She is incredibly creative, has an eye for detail, and has the warmest personality. Choosing her to be our photographer was the best decision we have made. Alex was so easy to be around, she made me feel like i've known her for years, like one of my best girl friends. She played pump up music when I was feeling nervous or awkward and gave us clear direction for our posing. Unpacking our suitcases from our wedding we were feeling having a little bit of #postwedding blues until I checked my email. This is long over due!!! I do not even know where to begin! Alex is such a true artist! She has the kindest soul and is the most down to earth person you will ever meet! She makes you feel like you've known each other for years but IRL you only have met for 5 minutes. If you are on the fence about booking her.. well let me make it easier on you! JUST BOOK HER! This is a very lengthy, detailed, and glowing review but I'll summarize it at the top in case you don't want to read it all. I can say with 100% confidence, you will be doing yourself a huge favor by hiring Alex for your big day! I cannot thank her enough for the unbelievably gorgeous photos, the ease of the entire day, the process leading up to it, and for her wonderful and fun personality. THANK YOU ALEX, WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL! Here goes... I found Alex through Instagram, perusing through random people's wedding photos in Palm Springs and was immediately struck by her photography style. The moody yet romantic nature, the candidness, the overall composition and vibe, I was in love! I emailed her and received a very quick response (always a win in my book). I hadn't confirmed my venue yet but I was very set on Alex after our first phone call and knew she had to be our photographer! It was very important to me to not feel rushed on the day of the wedding so I ended up booking the most amount of hours and we also ended up deciding on an engagement session, which I HIGHLY recommend! Alex was amazing at coming up with ideas for the location of the shoot throughout SoCal. We landed on a spot I had never even heard of, Angeles Forest and wow was it gorgeous. Alex went prior to the session to scope it out and knew exactly where we should meet and the trail to take, I was impressed as it's a huge national park. We felt SO comfortable from the moment we started taking photos with Alex. She tells you ways to pose and move your body in ways you would never think of, that turn out so so goooood. She also is just so fun to hang around! We left the engagement session smiling and so glad we made the right decision. Oh and then when we received the photos (quickly after the session), we were floored! Throughout the time leading up to the wedding, Alex was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the process. She gave me vendor recommendations, multiple timeline ideas and tips and tricks she has learned from all of her wedding experience. I was incredibly grateful for this. She was so patient on the phone with me when we went step by step through the timeline and made sure I was happy with everything. On the wedding day, I feel a sense of calm and excitement when I see her, she really has the best demeanor. The day went by flawlessly! Everyone kept saying to me, "um, I love your photographer." We had such a fun and stress-free day. The groomsmen were a tad challenging to wrangle (I even learned later that one of the guys forgot his black suit and had to buy one an hour before photos), but Alex worked wonders with them and rallied the troops! After the ceremony, we hopped in Alex's car and drove 5 min to the desert for some epic mountain shots. It was so fun and provided a more intimate photography moment for us in the midst of the busy, fam and friend-filled day. Alex joined us on the dance floor, taking photos and singing along to all of the songs. We said our goodbyes at the end of the night and I was sad for it all to be over! Within days, Alex sent through not just one or two sneak peaks but a FULL album of sneak peaks. I think I actually squealed out loud when I saw them. Once again, everything I imagined and so much MORE! I am quite literally waiting on the edge of my seat for a full album and already thinking about when I can hire Alex again? Are one-year anniversary photos a thing!? Quick – go hire Alex before it's too late!

Alex was referred to us by another photog who was already booked for our date, and I feel beyond lucky that we found her! My husband has a degree in photography so his standards for quality were pretty high while we were selecting, and Alex's work passed his criteria. For our engagement session she helped coordinate timing for us to bounce around spots in downtown LA, and honestly killed it. She came sick, made the session feel super fun and relaxed (we realized we had never PDA'd as much as we did that day!), and ran over when we were supposed to end. In the depths of crazy stressful planning, she even sent me a card with some kind words (her love language is gifting) and it was honestly the nicest thing to receive when you're feeling like you're hanging on by a thread! She also helped coordinate the timeline of our wedding day and drove around with us the day before scouting spots for first look and bridal party photos. She brought items for detail shots that were spot on for our theme AND bought confetti that matched for our first look and bridal party photos. I had already planned for confetti, but she surprised us with more which was amazing. She handled our family photos so swiftly and professionally which honestly was a feat with our huge families. So... what I'm trying to say is that Alex is just amazing. To say this girl is dedicated is an understatement. She loves what she does and it shows in every aspect of her work. My one hope was that we could find a photographer that felt like a friend, someone who we'd feel 100% comfortable spending out day with, and boy did we find it ten fold. In her initial questionnaire she asked how we'd want to feel looking at our photos and I said warm and fuzzy. Post-wedding hit me hard and I put off looking at our album for a while, but finally looking through helped me feel good about the whole day. I got those warm fuzzies I was hoping for =)

Ok. First and foremost... Alex is the kindest, calmest, most unbelievable HUMAN being we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. SECOND. Landry and I both work in film in front of and behind the camera, so are around cameras all day, everyday, 365 days a year almost. Alex is the most talented photographer we have ever come across, and that is not an exaggeration. She captures moment after moment you truly can't even believe actually existed. We have gotten compliments from dozens of our wedding guests so far telling us they have never seen such incredible photos and they've only seen the sneak peaks!!!!! Alex is the ABSOLUTE BEST! You will not regret hiring her for your wedding photos! Our videographers recommended Alex and we're so thankful they did. We first met her when she shot our engagement photos. Despite being a little nervous about how awkward those might be, Alex made us feel so comfortable and made the day so much fun (even our dog, Louie, was obsessed with her!). She also delivered the most real, us photos - we didn't want any cheesy engagement photos and she totally understand what we wanted - just us in our normal habitat. My husband and I booked Alex for our engagement photos in Joshua Tree. We stumbled upon her Instagram and immediately fell in love with her style and the way her couples looked so natural in the images. Honestly, words cannot describe my love, admiration and what I’m pretty sure has now officially become an obsession with Alex and her work. But I think the best way for me to get even remotely close is with a brief story about my wedding photographer journey: My husband and I only had 5 months to plan our entire wedding, so we didn’t have a whole lot of time for, well, anything and had to choose our vendors quickly. But, being the perfectionist that I am, there were just a few things that I was not willing to compromise on… like the wedding photographer. I STILL remember searching for the perfect photographer… for what seemed like days on end… one wedding portfolio, after another, after another… and they all looked the same! Nice and pretty, but no personality. Everything felt cold, staged and contrived. And then I stumbled onto Alex’s site and it hit me like a breath of fresh air! Beautiful, stunning photos with couples that looked like they were actually in love AND having a good time! I remember thinking, “This is it! This is the one.” And she was 😊 From that moment on, Alex has only continued to amaze me. Honestly it’s hard to know where to begin explaining how incredible Alex is... but I will start by saying that having her be available on your wedding date is like winning the lottery. Alex books over a year out and October is crazy wedding season, so when we got engaged on Christmas and were planning a wedding only 10 months in advance, we were at serious risk of not being able to have our dream photographer. But we got her and throughout every step of this year she has shown why she sets the bar for wedding photographers. From the sweet gift she sent us once we hired her, to proactively checking in and getting our timeline down early on in the planning process, to responding to every email at lightening speed, to the day of where she was just absolutely amazing, to getting us incredible sneak previews the next morning... we are just so, so lucky to have had her be a part of our big day. On the day of, Alex was totally down for our rogue, pop-up beach wedding on Sunset Cliffs, which was a must because our ceremony was an adventure! She corralled our family and friends, managed to snap perfect pics of our dogs who love to look at away at the last second, and helped us find cute hidden backdrops all over our beach town. She helped Ryan and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera. At the reception I don’t know how she and her second shooter managed to be everywhere at once, capturing all the craziness, but they got so many shots and so many of our guests commented on how seamlessly they managed to get all these shots while not feeling intrusive. And then the day after?? Getting these unreal, gorgeous sneak previews hours after we woke up?? It’s seriously out of control. She was amazing and seeing these pictures now, we know she was the exact right person to capture our colorful, adventurous, rager of a wedding. We love you, Alex!! Thank you for EVERYTHING!

ALEX IS TRULY AMAZING! She is a true artist and a master at her craft. We met Alex shortly after my now husband and I had a quick city hall wedding in March. We obsessively sifted through tons and tons of photographers and photos and we were in love with Alex's work and we knew we had to book her. Her work is simply and utterly breathtaking. The most important decision of my wedding day was photography. Let’s face it; when everything is said and done, what do you have left? Your photos. Realizing this I went little nuts researching photographers for a long time (let’s just say before I even had the ring). I wanted to not only have my photographs to reminisce, I wanted to my photos to provoke the feelings from our wedding day and tell our story for many days, months and years to come. Where do I even begin with Alexandria Monette (Alex for those in the know)... Well, what I can say is that booking her as our wedding photographer was literally the first thing we did for our wedding. Before the venue, before my dress, before the anything, we booked Alex as our photographer because I knew I wanted to have her capture our day. I had been a fan of her work for a long time leading up to our engagement, and I was in love with the style, the detail, and the soul that Alex puts into her photos. I knew that with her, we wouldn't be getting cookie-cutter photos, they wouldn't be photos that you had seen hundreds of times before with just a different bride and groom in them. She truly captures the unique personality and relationship of her couples and puts that into each image. She is impeccably professional and detail-oriented, and she will work tirelessly to give you the photos you are dreaming of (I think she must have researched a hundred sites before she found the perfect spot for our engagement photos). She caught moments of my wedding that I didn't even know I would want until they were in my gallery. She is very present throughout the whole day, but not obtrusively so, just enough to get the raw, candid moments that truly make the photos feel like yours. She has the best, adventurous spirit that will vibe well for those looking to get the most insane images (like our mountain treeline at sunset photos)! Alex was so easy to talk to and spend time with. We teased that we were going to adopt her in to our family (but really...you're in our family, Alex! LOL). The best decision we made was hiring Alex for our most important day and she will be the best decision you make, as well! No doubt in my mind! Thank you, Alex, for freezing in time our wedding day in such a beautiful and perfect way that we will be able to celebrate and cherish for the rest of our lives!

Alex is the BEST! After marrying my wife, choosing Alex to be a part of our wedding was the best decision we made. Neither of us had ever had professional photos taken and she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed during the engagement session (Which she accommodated last minute) and we looked effortlessly beautiful because of her. During the planning process she was in contact with us when necessary, and alleviated so much stress with her organization and timeline tools. I can honestly say that we were so excited to see Alex again for our wedding! She captured the day perfectly, all while remaining calm and keeping a smile on her face. You can tell she truly loves her job! Her confidence and guidance eased our minds and we were able to enjoy every minute without worrying that we missed something. Alex allowed us to express our creativity and added her own artistic touch - which produced some of the best photos of the day! ( ask about confetti in the desert) ;-) She sent us a sneak peak of our wedding photos within days and we were riding the wedding vibes with our friends and family for weeks! Documenting your wedding day is extremely important because it's the component that drives memory and nostalgia for the rest of your life...Alex totally nailed it and we feel like we hit the jackpot with her!

Book her! Do it now! ! Alex is seriously so talented and was so great at making us feel like models for our engagement pics and our wedding day...we thought we'd be so awkward lol! You can truly see that she loves what she does...it's a passion, not just a career. She is creative, encouraging and downright talented! Everything from the planning emails to the detailed scheduled she provided for us was organized and and made the whole engagement less stressful. Even on our wedding day when I was running SO behind she was calm and reassuring that her schedule allowed for plenty of time. At the end of the night after getting caught up talking to lots of guests I thought I had missed thanking her and saying bye and was really bummed. Then I walk over to the dance floor and she is still snapping photos of my loved ones getting DOWN with a huge smile on her face. Alex is amazing...we were so lucky to find her to be apart of our engagement, wedding day, and will definitely be shooting with her again when life brings another exciting event!

I can not express how much my husband and I love Alex! She was great through the entire process, from beginning to end. I reached out to her because I believe another photographer gave me her name and then I looked for her instagram. She responded promptly and lucky for us she was open on our date. All of her photos on Instagram are drool worthy and that’s the vision I had for our photos. Her work embodies my style. I feel like I am looking at whatever scene she photographs in person. It’s truly magical. She is also very reasonably priced and easy to communicate with. I had a lot of anxiety about photos but she put me at ease and produced some great shots!!! Alex is AMAZING and a TRUE ARTIST! If we could give her 10 stars we would in a second. I first fell in love with Alex's work on Instagram and drooled over her pictures for weeks before we reached out. Luckily, Alex was then recommended to us by our wedding coordinator who spoke super highly of Alex. From the beginning we hit it off, from our very first Skype intro call to the day we spent shooting our engagement photos on Channel Islands working with Alex was a breeze and a dream. We truly believe we hit the vendor jackpot and are so grateful for everything Alex did to make our wedding a dream come true. Our wedding party was close to 18 people with over 220 guests at our reception , and yet she captured every emotion and so many beautiful moments between by Husband and I, and also all of our guests. Her vision and creativity were such a blessing, and we will never be able to fully express our gratitude for the way she captured our story. If you have an opportunity to work with Alex - do not hesitate. She is worth everything and more.

I found Alex's website through Instagram and was immediately drawn to her style and talent. I contacted her and right off the bat she was friendly and real. We didn't live in the same city so we kept in touch via email and Skype and even though we didn't meet irl until my wedding day - we felt comfortable with her. My husband and I both knew the importance of the right photographer - somebody who knew what they were doing - who could capture our day artistically and creatively and also didn't distract the day from the guests. Alex & her day-of assistant were all of those things and more. She was able to help us with our day ahead of time to plan out when and where everything will take place to ensure a smooth wedding day. She took very beautiful candid portraits of us that looked natural and relaxed, we have many beautiful family portraits, candid cocktail and fun party pictures to go with. We barely even noticed she was there taking photographs and the portrait sessions were easy and fun - we didn't feel awkward at all. We still are in awe looking at all the beautiful photos she took. I couldn't recommend her more!!!

This review is LONG overdue! But, where do I even begin to tell you how great Alexandria is? My husband and I booked Alex for our July 2017 elopement in Joshua Tree, Ca. As soon as we saw her Instagram and website, we knew right away that we wanted her to capture our big day. If you haven't seen her IG/website, you must go right after reading this! Alex gracefully captures emotion in all of her photos. Her work is immaculate...flawless. She has amazing style, she's creative, and has a keen eye for detail. All sorts of details, from lighting to decor to emotion. Besides her impeccable photography skills, Alexandria is so much fun to work with. She's fun, she's adventurous, and the best part is that she goes above and beyond for you. She makes you feel good, comfortable, and very happy. Our elopement would not have been the same without her! She helped every way possible the day of our wedding, she complimented us all the time, and made us feel like magazine models! I can still hear her say "work it girl!" "Yaaaaasss girl" "ooooh you got it!." My husband and I truly had the BEST photographer, and we have the BEST photos of our Best Day Ever thanks to her! We love her.

Alex is AMAZING! She is so down to earth and sweet, she made my now-husband and I feel very relaxed the whole time we were posing for pictures, and our whole wedding party loved her as well. She captured our day so perfectly, the pictures turned out more beautifully than I ever could have imagined! People ask me all the time who took our pictures. I cannot recommend her enough!

I cannot say enough positive things about Alex both in regards to her talent as a photographer and as a person! Her creativity, knowledge of photography, and eye for detail, lighting, and color result in the most beautiful photos imaginable! I just love the general feel of Alex's photographs, all the photos she takes (in my opinion) are so dreamy!!! Alex's incredibly kind and easy-going demeanour made the session completely stress-free and truly fun! She made both myself and my husband so comfortable by allowing us to pose naturally while also giving us some pointers to ensure she got the best photos possible! When I look back at the photos she took of us, I am blown away at how great my husband and I look (trust me, we are not models and are not often photogenic). One thing that really stuck out to me through the whole process of booking the session, planning the location, outfits, etc., and having our photos taken, is that Alex wanted to capture "us" and have our photos reflect our relationship. Never have I loved photos of my husband and I so much! I fully intend to have Alex take more photos of us in the future. We live in Canada, but we love Southern California, and making the trip just for Alex's photos would be 100% worth it for us. I would highly recommend her as a photographer for any occasion!

I honestly can’t say enough amazing things about Alex! She was the one vendor through my entire planning process who was always one step ahead of me which made my life so much easier. She thought of everything and planned the entire day to the minute to make sure I got all the shots I wanted. On the day of she kept things running smoothly and worked with my coordinator to keep us on time which allowed me to sit back and enjoy the day. Alex also has this special talent of making you feel confortable in front of the camera which makes her photos not only beautiful, but uniquely true to you and your significant other. She truely captured my husband and I perfectly and I love every single picture that she delivered to us. I could not have asked for a better photographer to have captured one of the most important days of my life.
