If you're looking for an all inclusive venue where all your friends and family can stay together, Migis Lodge cannot be topped! We loved having the entire property to ourselves to celebrate our wedding with our favorite people. Kate, Maddy, and all of the Migis staff were friendly, easy to work with, and provided top notch service throughout our wedding festivities. The ease of not worrying about transportation or a ton of vendors was what made this venue so attractive to us in the first place. It does come with a hefty cost though.
We toured (and fell in love with) the property in the fall of 2022 and were hoping for a 2023 date but FYI: they have a VERY limited number of dates available for weddings each year (19 in 2023 and only 17 in 2024 including Saturdays, Sundays, and in 2024 a Monday wedding on Memorial Day). When we toured in 2022, they hadn't released their rates or dates for the 2024 wedding season, so we referred to the 2023 pricing. Unfortunately their prices increased dramatically for the 2024 season, as most wedding industry vendors did post-pandemic. We were added to a waitlist (of 20+ couples) to choose a date and ended up with our top choice of Memorial Day; being a Monday it was the most affordable option. There are additional charges beyond the per person price (some of which are clearly outlined in the contract) for a ceremony fee, bonfire fee, and other add ons, which felt a little unnecessary considering how much we were already spending.
We were required to host an 80 person (minimum) rehearsal dinner the night before (all Saturday weddings require 100 people minimum). We turned this into a welcome dinner for all guests joining our wedding which was lovely since so many people travelled from far away to be there. It was a buffet style dinner hosted outdoors and the food was delicious. It also took a lot of pressure off of the wedding, getting to see and talk with everyone at the welcome dinner.
We loved how much flexibility we had with choosing our wedding menu, rehearsal dinner menu, and the bar options. Our cake was also included with the venue. We opted for an ice cream sundae bar for our guests and had a small cake for ourselves. The options for food are endless - Chef John and Cait can do it all!
The overnight accommodations and lakefront location are incredible. Each cabin is absolutely stunning and there is more than enough room for everyone to spread out. We loved being able to assign our guests to cabins and loved all of the options of cabin sizes (almost all of the 2+ bedroom accommodations have ensuite bathrooms which was a huge plus for our guests!) The discounted overnight rate was appreciated and included breakfast each morning.
My only gripe with Migis is that they do not accept cards. All payments (for both us and our guests) needed to be paid with cash or check at check out. Having our entire wedding bill given to us the morning after, and having to pay cash or check for it, was slightly overwhelming.
All in all, we would highly recommend Migis Lodge for your special day. The location can't be beat, the food and overnight accommodations are impeccable, and the all inclusiveness makes for easy planning.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Migis Lodge. They are professionals on every single level and our wedding was an absolute dream and more than we could have ever imagined. From the very beginning, Kate was amazing to work with and made the entire process so seamless - they thought of every single detail. We got so many compliments on the food and venue and having all our people in one place for the weekend was beyond. It truly is effortless luxury. If you are considering booking your wedding at Migis absolutely do it - you will not regret it!!
When my husband and I envisioned our wedding, we wanted a weekend-long event that felt like a vacation with all our closest friends and family. We toured a few venues that we felt good about, but as soon as we pulled into the Migis driveway, we were sold.
It goes without saying that the venue is stunning -- beautiful cabins nestled along Sebago Lake -- and has all the amenities an adventurous couple could ask for. Pickleball, tennis, canoes, cornhole, you name it!
But even better than the venue was the staff. We worked with Maddy and Kate; they could not have been more kind, patient, and helpful. Everyone warned me that wedding planning would be stressful, but these two made wedding planning feel like fun. Not only was Migis our venue, but it was also our accommodations, caterer, cake designer and planner. If you're a low-lift bride with high standards (me!), Migis is your place.
And the wedding was perfect in every way (even in the pouring rain!). Nearly every guest came up to me to rave about the staff's hospitality; one couple even asked if we would mind if they got married at Migis too :)
Migis Lodge is a special place. We can't wait to go back.
Any questions?
We cannot say enough about this venue...they truly made our wedding a dream from beginning to end. We worked with Maddy and Justin to coordinate our day and they ensured that every little detail was taken care of. Our friends and family all had the time of their lives. Favorite moments? Leaving our ceremony by BOAT (!!!), sitting around the fire after the reception, brunch at cookout point, incredible food/cake, the most BEAUTIFUL accommodations. We stayed in a cottage with its own dock, an outdoor shower, and the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. We are so thankful to have spent such a special day in our lives at Migis and cannot wait to go back to this property for vacation in the years to come.
For anyone who hasn’t been, the only true word to describe Migis is “magical.” I tried to describe it in other ways, but “it’s one part Fern Gully, one part Santa’s workshop and one part Peter Pan’s Mermaid Lagoon” was the closest I could come up with. Being able to have our wedding there was an absolute dream. Starting with the first time I reached out for information right until the end, the Migis staff was over-the-top warm, responsive and accommodating. Even without a wedding planner, I felt like I could relax when I arrived at Migis for the wedding because I had such (well-founded) faith in the staff. From primping with my bridesmaids in a gorgeous two-story cabin to getting married on the lake to dancing the night away in the lodge, nothing could’ve gone better. Every one of our guests was blown away by the beauty, the food (it’s amazing!) the accommodations and the general atmosphere of Migis. Out of our wedding of 130 people, at least half have talked about going back in future summers. Robyn and Maddy went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. It was pure magic. Migis itself is pure magic. If you want a wedding that gives you the bright-eyed wonder and excitement of summer camp with the luxuries of adulthood, look no more. If you want your wedding to be not only a great party, but the start of your new family, with new traditions and places to call home, you have found it. There is absolutely nowhere better for the celebration of love and family than Migis Lodge.
I can't begin to say how wonderful our wedding was. Robyn and Maddy literally took care of everything. When I arrived for the weekend, I dropped everything off, did a quick run through with Robyn and that was it. I did not have to worry about a single thing. The venue not only took care of me and my joe husband, but my guests as well. I was so impressed about all the details that they took care of. The food was absolutely fantastic and I did not have a single complaint. They even had gluten free options for members of my family. I highly recommend the beef tenderloin! The whole weekend went off without a hitch and I have nothing but praises for all of Migis Lodge and their staff. Truly and unforgettable wedding.
