The Greenhouse at Highland Farm

We are so happy we chose The Greenhouse at Highland Farm as our venue! It was very easy to communicate with Jessica and the extra amenities like lawn games, the flower credit, and the entire weekend to help prep and take down were amazing. Our wedding was in July so the field around the greenhouse was full of beautiful wildflowers that made for a gorgeous setting.

All of my family and friends could not stop raving about how beautiful the Greenhouse is. We wanted to be able to do an outdoor ceremony but weren’t looking for the typical barn wedding reception. Our October wedding got a little chilly towards the end of the reception and the heater and retractable walls were an absolute savior. All of the lighting and the curtain lights around the green space made decorating super simple. The girls at Highland farm were absolutely amazing with all of my 5 AM emails and last minute questions. I cannot recommend the Greenhouse enough.

I knew I didn’t want the classic barn wedding that is popular in Maine, this venue was the perfect alternative! The space is open and bright, it’s simple enough inside that it’ll match any type of decor you want! The outdoor space is covered in flowers which line the path to the altar. There’s a great bridal suite as well. Christine and Jessica were prompt to reply to all of my questions.

When looking for a wedding venue we knew we loved the idea of a greenhouse, but there were none in our area. On a whim, I came across The Greenhouse at Highland Farm and we are so pleased with our decision. Not only were the owners wonderful to work with, but they made sure we had everything we needed. They contacted vendors directly once we had established them all which was a huge help and gave us one less thing to worry about. We expected to have to have an indoor ceremony due to rain. We also had an exceptionally rainy morning at the venue, but it cleared up in the knick of time. Last minute, the venue owners moved the arbor, chairs, and florals to the wildflower space so we could have our ceremony outside which is what we had really wanted but didn’t think was possible due to weather. The little touches were also appreciated. The farmhouse had sweet signs and a basket of goodies for us. Christine knew I was overwhelmed and offered to plant and place beautiful floral rentals around the venue which came out beautifully. They also took care of all Covid specific things/forms/etc that were needed. We would chose to have our wedding at the greenhouse in a heartbeat. They helped make our wedding vision come to life.
